The WISH Music Awards is on it's 3rd year and it will be held on January 15, 2018 at the SMART- Araneta Coliseum.
Produced by Breakthrough and Milestone Productions International, Wish Music Awards aim to put OPM on spotlight by gathering and recognizing the year's well-loved music artists.
The 2018 WMA will give thanks to OPM legends as well as the new and up and coming Pinoy musicians who have showcased their new flare of musicality.
Consistent with its mission to promote goodwill while promoting local music, the first Wish Music Awards was remarkable for using parts of its proceeds to donate to charities. Major award winners were given a cash donation of P100,000 each for their chosen charities.
On the 2nd Wish Music Awards, the WISHclusive Elite Circle award was given to performances uploaded in YouTube with the most number of views. The introduction of the WISHclusive Elite Circle was spurred by the phenomenal rise of Wish 107.5's online digital platform in 2016. Today, Wish 107.5's YouTube channel has earned massive followings , brought largely by the diverse array of WISHclusive performances by local and foreign acts.
The major awards for this year's WMA include Best WISHclusive Performance, WISH Original Song of the Year and WISH Artist of the Year. Other awards to be given are: WISH Promising Artist, WISHclusive Elite Circle Award, WISH Reactor's Choice Award and the WISH Music Icon.
Winners will be chosen via online voting (15%) and judges' votes (85%).
